Current approach

This website is built as a static site with semantic headings, skip navigation, responsive layouts, keyboard-accessible navigation, descriptive link text, alternative text for meaningful images, and visible focus styles. The design is intended to support clear reading, scanning, and navigation on common desktop and mobile devices.

Reference standards

Where practical, the site is designed with reference to widely used accessibility practices, including WCAG concepts such as perceivable content, keyboard access, readable contrast, meaningful structure, and reduced-motion support. The site has not yet received a formal third-party accessibility audit.

Known limitations

Some embedded maps, basemap imagery, third-party map controls, screenshots, or portfolio examples may not provide the same level of accessibility as ordinary text content. Spatial information can be difficult to represent fully in nonvisual formats. When possible, important map-based information should also be described in nearby text or available through an alternate explanation.

Include the page URL, a description of the issue, the device and browser you were using, and any assistive technology involved if you are comfortable sharing that information.

Ongoing updates

Accessibility should be reviewed when new pages, maps, forms, downloads, dashboards, or third-party tools are added. The contact form should continue to be checked for keyboard access, labels, instructions, validation messages, spam protection, and privacy language whenever it changes.
